These holistic art experiences invite you to slow down and explore creativity as a process, not a product. Rooted in the history and traditions of timeless techniques, each session offers insight into where these practices come from and how they can be used today as a form of mindful making.
Guided gently through each stage, you’ll learn methods such as Indian block printing, cyanotype, and lino printing, allowing space for experimentation, reflection, and personal expression. These hands-on processes naturally engage both the logical and intuitive sides of the brain—supporting focus, balance, and creative confidence.
This is time to be you, and time for you. A chance to step away from everyday demands, nurture your mind, and let your creative juices flow in a relaxed, supportive environment. Led by a passionate teacher with over 30 years’ experience in art, photography, and craft, these experiences are both enriching and accessible—whether you’re returning to creativity or discovering it anew.
No pressure. No perfection. Just presence, learning, and the joy of making.
Price
Half Day – £45 per person, 3 hours – create 1-4 pieces, such as A4 prints, cards, bookmark, labels, etc.
Full Day – £85 per person, 6 hours – create 1-6 pieces, such as A4 prints, cards, tote bag, cushion cover, book mark, labels, coaster, etc
All materials provided, including refreshments. Lunch not provided – but plenty of walkable sandwich shops nearby. Warm, calm, inviting studio and large secure carpark situated in the heart of Dronfield – accessible by foot, road, train and bus routes.
